i’m building telora, a new kind of university for ambitious people. previously, i started willing, helped turn around burger king, and worked at mckinsey.

i love working with founders before their startups take off. i try to give them the kind of help i wish i had when i was first getting started.

i like to travel. i collect books. i appreciate good design. there’s something very fulfilling about cooking a meal for people i love. maybe one day i’ll do stand-up at madison square garden.

i live in miami with my wife angie. we have two daughters, ali and lia. every month, i spend a few days in san francisco. i was born in the dominican republic and am the son of cuban immigrants. i’ve lived in mountain view, new york, sao paulo, and mexico city.
